- Never store tent when wet or damp.
- Store tent above ground level.
- Wash off dirt or grime with a mild soap solution.
- Randomly air tents whilst in storage.
- All new tents should be pitched at home before going camping (to familiarise one self on how to assemble the tent).
- Check all accessories required.
- Ensure that pegs and frames are packed in a separate bag to avoid damages.
- It is advisable to have a loose ground sheet under the fitted ground sheet.
- Clean area of campsite before erecting a tent.
- It is advisable to carry a wax stick should there be any leaks.
- Make sure that the tent is properly secured with the guy ropes and pegs.
- Provided (additional pegs and ropes can be purchased).
- Avoid campfires close to the tent.
- Before leaving the campsite do a final check that all items are packed.
- It is advisable to count pegs \ guy ropes and poles before packing.
