Good morning Nelson.

I would just like to thank you for the top quality hard shell rooftop tent we purchased from you and after sales service we have received from you. Myself and my wife recently left Durban to Namibia for a three week tour. A day before our departure I experienced a problem with one of the hinges of the tent.

I called you and you agreed to see us the next day to do the repair.  The repair was done quickly and efficiently by your well trained staffed under your supervision. Soon we on our way to our overnight stop in Bloemfontein before going into the Northern Cape and into Namibia. The tent sets up with ease and packs away in no time at all. Even arriving late at one’s destination is not a problem.

We spend a total of 22 nights in the rooftop top tent. We found the mattress to be conformable and the tent to be roomy. The tent is well ventilated and all the windows able to open. Even in the extreme heat of Klein Pella and Ai Ais we slept well. The tent also retains the heat well when sealed up as we found out in Luderitz with the cold Atlantic wind blowing. The tent held it shape even during the high winds in Luderitz and a dust storm and rain in the Kalahari.

I would most certainly recommend this model of roof top tent to any person in the market for one. We did have one bad experience (which is no fault of the manufacturer) where the ladder was stolen in Port Nolloth while we were asleep. I would suggest that campers use a short chain or bicycle type lock to secure the ladder at night especially in the quieter camps or isolated camps.

Petty theft can occur at any park at any time. Getting down from 2 meters up without a ladder is not for the feint hearted! Attached is a photo of the tent while camping at Shark bay in Luderitz, Witsand nature reserve in the Northern Cape and Port Nolloth were our ladder was stolen. Thank you again Nelson, for making our journey an enjoyable one, without the hassle of tenting on the ground or towing a caravan or trailer.

Kind regards
